The program ensures graduates are aware of the variety of professional career options available through its Path to Pro program. And allows The Home Depot to keep its valuable professional customer segment happy with a stream of candidates who have an aptitude for and interest in skilled construction work. Together, we are facilitating the creation of quality, high-paying jobs in the trades for the next generation.

It’s no secret that there’s a constant and growing need for health care professionals as the world population ages. Student-led organization HOSA Future Health Professionals recently partnered with Pearson through its Connections Academy online learning offering. HOSA connects high school-level students with opportunities to learn about a career in health care. Students gain practical soft skills and technical knowledge while participating in community service and leadership opportunities. These chances for “on-the-job” training can jump start their careers in health care, while giving providers a stream of candidates who already have some experience in a hospital or care-giving setting.
